NICOLE SIMONE

Hey, I'm Nicole!

I love working on projects that start with someone excitedly explaining an idea while gesturing wildly or scribbling madly on a whiteboard.

I look to be part of and further cultivate an encouraging work environment that thrives on collaboration and creative brainstorming to continually improve and grow. From contract work, to partnerships, to side gigs with friends I love working on all different types of campaigns revolving around illustration. I get especially excited about projects where other parts of my degree like animation, user experience, branding, and game design can be utilized as well.

 Background

If you think we would make a kick-ass team, have the perfect project for me, or just want to talk over a nice cup of tea -- virtually for now, contact me at hello@nicolesimone.design  or on any of my social media linked below!

I graduated with a BFA in New Media Design and a minor in Game Design. From there I continued working for the production studio I interned with my senior year. I was hired as a UX Designer but wore many hats throughout my time there including a majority of marketing work for clients as well as research and illustrations for many of the company-run projects.

During the height of the Covid Pandemic, I was forced to reassess my future plans and recognize my fascination towards the storytelling of illustration and animation rather than the path of UX. Believing any new skill is within reach given the right amount of dedication, time, and effort, I worked hard practicing and building clientele to further develop my skillset and career.
